The SAR300T-N03BG puts you in control - set your working pressure once with the T-handle, lock it with the hex nut, and it holds there as the compressor cycles on and off, so your tools keep consistent power and speed. It is a self-relieving air regulator: when pressure downstream of it rises past your setting, or when you dial the setting down, the excess vents to atmosphere through the bonnet instead of staying trapped in the line. That means you can lower a setting on a dead-ended line without cracking a fitting to bleed it, and a short hiss when you do is the relief working as designed, not a leak. The 0-160 PSI gauge and mounting bracket are included, and it can be wall mounted or panel mounted at the workstation, adjustable anywhere from 0 to 150 PSI with a 250 PSI maximum inlet pressure. This air line regulator is sized for midsize single-tool work on 3/8" NPT, rated at 105 SCFM measured at 90 PSIG: impact wrenches, ratchets, and nailers. If you need more air, the series scales with port size from 1/4 inch up to 1 inch NPT; size to what your tools actually draw, not to the pipe you happen to have. One honest note: this compressed air regulator controls pressure only - it does not remove water, oil, or particulate. If your air is untreated, add a filter upstream, or step up to a PneumaticPlus filter-regulator to do both jobs in one body. Made in Korea and built to be serviced rather than tossed: rebuild kits are stocked, so a worn unit can be brought back to spec instead of replaced. When you plumb it, follow the flow arrow, seal the port threads with liquid Teflon rather than tape, and avoid over-torquing the port and gauge threads.
