Immerse Strip Into Pet Urine

You can simply hold the test strip to your pet's urine stream or use a pet urine collector to first collect the urine and then immerse the strip into the sample. Please make sure that the test strip does not contact urine for more than 2 seconds.

Hold Horizontal for 30 Seconds

Hold the urine test strip horizontal after immersion so that the color pads do not bleed onto each other and skew results. Wait for 30 seconds for the reactions on the color pads to take place.

Read the Results

Hold the urine test strip against the color chart on the product bottle to read the results. Make sure to read the correct parameter at the specified time. Record your results and speak to a veterinarian if necessary.

Make your life easier. Test the parameters one at a time:

Collect the urine in a sample cup

Use a plastic pipette to drop 2 drops on the first color pad

Wait until time to read and record the results

How to Collect Dog Urine:

Take your dog out for a walk and use a urine collector with a handle to extend it under the dog's urine stream.

How to Collect Cat Urine:

Replace the regular cat litter with non-absorbent litter. Wait until your cat urinates, tip the litter box so the urine flows to one end, use plastic pipette to collect sample.
