Made in the USA from solid copper, these 1-1/4" ringed-shank nails combine a secure grip with a distinctive 3/16" decorative rosehead. They're designed for projects where the fastener is visible and part of the finished look.
Copper develops a natural patina over time. The color and rate of change depend on exposure to moisture, humidity and other environmental conditions.
RINGED SHANK
The ringed shank and half-hardened copper provide added grip in the wood and help resist bending during installation.

Install Them Right: Pilot Holes Matter
Drill a pilot hole
Drill a pilot hole before installing the nails. The recommended bit size depends on the type of wood.
Hardwood: Use a #42 or #43 bit (approx. 3/32").
Softwood: Use a #44 or #45 bit (slightly smaller for better grip).
Protect the Rosehead
Use a rubber mallet to drive the nail and help protect the rosehead. Alternatively, place a piece of wood or fabric between the rosehead and your regular hammer.
Drive Straight
Keep the nail aligned with the pilot hole and drive it straight into the wood.
Avoid striking the decorative head directly with a steel hammer.
