Shigaraki ware is a breeze made in Shigarami, Koga, Shiga Prefecture. It is said to have a long history of over 1200 years as one of the six-kilns in Japan.
Loochimon is the original name of Shigaraki's artisan word used for "Fugawari Mono". The variety of shapes created by nature and the vessel has a variety of expressions, just like our individual personality. It is filled with the hearts and playfulness of masters who care about "inconsistency".
The bristles are painted in white soil like waves and splashing waves that hit the rock.
